O processamento dos frutos do cafeeiro para obtenção do cereja descascado gera água residuária do café (ARC), que contém nutrientes, os quais podem ser aproveitados na adubação de culturas. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo verificar o efeito da aplicação da ARC sobre o crescimento das plantas e teores de K, Ca, Mg e Na na matéria seca de folhas de alface. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação, utilizando-se o delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com 4 repetições e 6 tratamentos, constituídos por doses ARC (O, 50, I00,150, 200 e 250 mL/planta), aplicadas sobre as folhas, em 4 ocasiões. A aplicação da água residuária do café, sobre as folhas, não causou injúrias visíveis na alface. Contudo, reduziu o crescimento das plantas. A matéria seca das plantas, do caule e das folhas e os teores de Ca, Mg e Na nas folhas de alface diminuíram com o aumento da dose de água residuária do café. |
